The report of November's EOSC Coordination Day in Budapest was published, and one of the event's highlights was the approval of four Interest Groups (IGs), created in order to give the EOSC community an opportunity to collaborate, share information, and discuss EOSC-related topics.
EOSCSecretariat.eu set up an IT platform to support the Interest Groups in their activities. This platform features a workspace based on a public and open collaborative virtual space where members can discuss, share documents and structure their collaboration.
Complemeting the interaction via the constantly growing Liaison Platform, the IGs will be a significant channel for the community to work on specific topics and collaborate towards the development and implementation of the European Open Science Cloud.
The IGs are open to all members of the EOSC community and EOSC-related projects, with no limit in the number of participants from a single project.
Each IG is facilitated by at least one member of the EOSCsecretariat.eu:
- EOSC Researcher Engagement and Use cases - facilitated by Bernd Saurugger (TU Wien)
- EOSC Service and Research Product Catalogues - facilitated by Andrea Mannocci (CNR-ISTI)
- EOSC Federating Core - facilitated by Netsanet Haile G. (KIT- Karlsruhe Institute of Technology)
- EOSC Glossary - facilitated by Donatella Castelli (CNR-ISTI)
