The Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium (CERIC)  publishes a paper reviewing the applicability of the Charter for Access to Research Infrastructures as an input to the forthcoming Pact for Research and Innovation.

In its Communication 'A new ERA for Research and Innovation', the EC proposes that Member States reinforce their commitment to shared policies and principles, by adopting a Pact for Research and Innovation. In the field of Research Infrastructures, a relevant contribution to such a Pact could be the Charter for Access to Research Infrastructures.

The paper developed by CERIC discusses some possible modifications of the Charter, which could make it even more impactful. It thus aims to contribute to the implementation of the ESFRI White Paper and the EC’s proposed Pact for Research and Innovation.

Paper is available in the Zenodo platform (10.5281/zenodo.4475207).
